FAQ

Frequently asked questions about high-tech logistics.

What is high-tech logistics?

High-tech logistics is the transport of sensitive, high-value equipment combined with value-added services: preparation, careful transport, delivery to the installation location, installation, commissioning and returns. For printers and multifunction systems, this means: the device arrives configured, it runs, and the old device is gone.

How does high-tech logistics differ from conventional freight forwarding?

A freight forwarder delivers to the kerb or the loading dock. In high-tech logistics, trained two-person teams deliver to the final position, install, test and document the hand-over for each device.

Do you also deliver printers and MFPs up stairs or into basements?

Yes. With electric stair climbers, we move even heavy A3 systems up stairs and into basements. We check weight, dimensions and access route in advance.

What does pre-staging mean for printers and multifunction systems?

Before delivery, the devices are inspected, fitted with accessories, configured and recorded by serial number. On site, all that remains is connection, testing and hand-over.

Can you represent us at the end customer’s site?

Yes. In the white label model, we work with your work instructions, your documentation and clear codes of conduct. The customer relationship stays with you.

How does a pilot before a printer rollout work?

We start with a manageable but representative scope, such as one site. We then evaluate the results together and only scale once processes and quality are right.

Do you take back old devices and erase the storage media?

Yes, on request. We take back old devices in the same appointment when replacing equipment. We agree the erasure of hard drives and SSDs with you per project, including procedure and proof.

Do you also operate in Austria, Switzerland and across Europe?

Yes. We work across Germany and, by arrangement, also carry out rollouts in Austria, Switzerland and other European countries.
